Nestled by the water’s edge, Point House blends into the charming landscape of Noss Mayo. We modernised its traditional coastal design and created a welcoming and timeless appearance that perfectly suits the natural beauty of the area. Enhancing the property’s panoramic views across the Yealm, we kept a sense of connection to the surroundings.
The ground floor of Point House received a dramatic renovation. We opened up the space to create a light and airy feel, with a sleek kitchen and dining area flowing seamlessly into the cozy living room and snug. We retained the original exposed beams, merged the flooring tile and timbers, and modernised the space with contemporary fixtures and finishes. The result is a stunning blend of old and new, perfect for entertaining and everyday living.
The first floor renovations included a complete overhaul of the bathroom, transforming it into a luxurious retreat. The space was reconfigured to accommodate a freestanding bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a stylish vanity. The bedrooms were also refreshed with new paint, flooring, and fixtures, creating comfortable and inviting spaces for rest and relaxation.
The loft conversion created a spacious and versatile room with a dramatic vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. The conversion included the installation of new windows to maximise natural light, and carefully considered lights to further brighten the space. The room was also fitted with reclaimed flooring, and insulation to improve energy efficiency and comfort.
